Managed B2B cold email infrastructure

Your emails are worthless if they land in spam.

I build dedicated sending infrastructure, warm it properly, and run your outreach from it — so your message reaches an actual inbox and starts an actual conversation.

What I control, and what I don't
MINE

Deliverability

Domain setup, authentication, warm-up pacing, sender rotation, bounce and complaint management. This is the part I guarantee, because it's the part I own.

MINE

Volume and targeting

Lead sourcing, verification, list hygiene, sequencing, and daily campaign monitoring. Included in every managed engagement.

YOURS

The offer itself

Whether your market wants what you sell. I can put you in front of the right people at scale. I can't make a weak offer land — and I'll tell you before we start if I think that's the risk.

Why

Built out of frustration.
Refined through failure.

I started a business with a concept that was genuinely difficult to market. I needed outreach — real, high-volume, targeted outreach — and I couldn't find anyone offering what I needed at a price I could justify.

So I stopped looking for someone to hire and built the machine myself.

It took months. Learning email deliverability properly, not from a blog post. Reading the actual spam legislation across jurisdictions. Testing warm-up pacing until I understood why the standard advice fails. Building automation that survives contact with real volume. Debugging the edge cases that only appear once you're sending at scale.

What came out of it is a compliant, high-volume sending system that reaches real inboxes without burning domains — and I run it every day for my own outreach before I run it for anyone else's.

BuiltCold is that same system, built and operated for other B2B companies. You're not hiring an agency floor. You're hiring the person who built the thing and still has his hands on it.

One operator. Every account personally monitored. That's the ceiling on how many clients I take, and it's deliberate.

How

Four phases, and none of them are skippable.

Weeks overlap. The one thing that can't be compressed is warm-up — and anyone who tells you otherwise is about to burn your domains.

Weeks 1–3

Infrastructure & warm-up

Dedicated sending domains purchased and configured. Mailboxes created. SPF, DKIM and DMARC set on every one. Warm-up begins immediately and builds sender reputation gradually.

Weeks 2–3

Routing & sequences

I write your email sequences and build the workflows that deliver interested replies straight to you — your CRM, your inbox, or a simple pipeline I set up. Nothing gets lost.

Weeks 3–4

Launch at reduced volume

Campaigns go live at 100–300 emails per day. Placement, bounce and reply rates are watched daily and adjusted in real time. This is the phase that determines everything after it.

Weeks 4–6+

Full scale

Volume ramps to your target. Ongoing A/B testing, list refinement, and domain rotation keep placement high as the campaign matures.

Pricing

Two costs. Both visible.

A one-time build, then a daily rate for running it. Outreach fees don't start until campaigns are live — you're not paying for the weeks the machine is warming.

The build

One-time. Yours to keep. Includes the first month of infrastructure costs.

Every build includes

Configured, warmed, monitored, and documented — whether I run your campaigns or you do.

  • Dedicated sending domains purchased and configured
  • Mailbox creation with full DNS setup (SPF / DKIM / DMARC)
  • Two to three week warm-up, included
  • Lead routing into your CRM, inbox, or a pipeline I build
  • Automation that delivers interested replies to you instantly
  • Onboarding walkthrough so you understand your own system
  • Seven days of active monitoring after launch
  • First month of infrastructure costs covered

Build-only clients: you own the infrastructure outright — domains, mailboxes, and configurations are yours to keep and run independently. After month one, expect roughly $175–$250/month in infrastructure costs depending on scale.

The outreach

Billed daily, starts when campaigns go live. Lead sourcing, list management, sequence writing, and daily monitoring are all included — there's no separate copy fee and no tool costs passed through.

Your first month runs at half rate

The first 30 days of live sending are billed at 50% — see the machine working before you commit to full rate. Thirty-day minimum once campaigns go live, then pause or cancel with seven days' notice.

Paused accounts stay warm for $200/month, so restarting takes days rather than another full warm-up cycle.

A reply floor you can hold me to

If your first 30 days of live sending come in under the floor for your tier, I run the next 30 days free.

Replies, not meetings — I control whether your email is seen, not whether your market wants what you sell. Floors apply to sequences I write and lists I build. Bring your own copy and I'll run it gladly, but results then rest on your messaging.

Copywriting for build-only clients: $500 for three complete sequences with A/B variants. Included at no charge in every managed outreach tier.

Expectations

Here's the math, including the parts that aren't flattering.

I'm not going to quote you a conversion rate I invented. These are published 2026 industry benchmarks, worked through at the Growth tier. Your results will land somewhere on this range depending on your market and your offer.

Emails sent per month at Growth tier 300–500 per day, weekdays only 6,000 – 10,000
Industry average reply rate, 2026 Down from ~5% in 2025. Inboxes are more crowded every year. Strong campaigns reach 8–12%. ≈ 3.4%
Total replies Includes rejections, referrals, and out-of-office — all of it 200 – 340
Genuinely interested replies Typically 15–30% of all replies. Most people say no. That's normal and it's priced in. 30 – 100
Qualified conversations Interested and a real fit for what you sell 15 – 45
Cost per qualified conversation At $3,000/month, all-in $65 – $200

The honest version: the biggest variable in that table isn't deliverability — it's your offer. A tightly defined audience with a clear reason to care can outperform this range by several times. A vague offer sent to a broad list will underperform it, and no amount of infrastructure fixes that. If I think your offer is the bottleneck, I'll say so on the first call rather than after you've paid me.

Questions

The ones worth asking.

For B2B outreach in the US, yes — CAN-SPAM permits unsolicited commercial email provided you identify yourself honestly, include a valid physical postal address, and honour opt-outs promptly. Every campaign I run is built to those requirements, along with CASL for Canadian recipients and GDPR's legitimate-interest provisions for EU contacts.

What I won't do is tell you compliance is a solved problem. GDPR in particular is interpreted differently across member states, and no vendor can hand you a guarantee about how a regulator will read a given campaign. What I can do is make sure every message is properly identified, addressed, and opt-out enabled, that targeting is limited to business contacts with a plausible professional interest, and that you know exactly where your list came from.

No. Lead sourcing, verification and list management are included in every managed tier. I build targeted lists from your ideal customer profile — industry, company size, role, geography, and whatever else actually predicts fit. If you already have lists, I'll work with them or supplement them, though I'll verify anything before it goes near a sending domain.

Because mailbox providers watch new sending domains closely. A domain registered last week that suddenly sends four hundred emails gets flagged immediately, and once reputation is damaged it's easier to buy a new domain than repair the old one. Warm-up builds sending volume and engagement signals gradually until the domain reads as a legitimate sender.

It's the least glamorous part of the process and the one most likely to be skipped by someone promising fast results. It isn't optional.

Your campaigns keep running. Sending is spread across multiple domains and rotated deliberately, so if one degrades I isolate it, warm a replacement, and the campaign continues. Your primary business domain is never used for cold outreach — that's the whole reason for dedicated sending domains.

The full working is in the what to expect section above, but the short version at the Growth tier is roughly 15 to 45 qualified conversations per month, at somewhere between $65 and $200 each.

That's a wide range on purpose. It moves with your offer, your market, and how tightly your ICP is defined — not with how hard I work. The reply floor in the pricing section is the part I'm willing to put a number on, because replies are what infrastructure produces. Meetings are what your offer produces.

I do, and it's included in every managed tier at no extra cost — three complete sequences with A/B variants, built from your existing materials and adapted to your audience.

If you'd rather use your own copy, that's genuinely fine and I'll run it. The only thing that changes is the reply floor: it applies to sequences I write, because copy is the single largest driver of reply rate and I can't underwrite a variable I don't control. Build-only clients can buy the sequences separately for $500.

There's a thirty-day minimum once campaigns go live, because cold email compounds — the first two weeks are where targeting and copy get tuned, and stopping before that is paying for setup without the payoff. After that, pause or cancel with seven days' notice.

Paused accounts stay warm for $200/month, so you restart at full volume in days rather than sitting through another warm-up cycle. No long-term contract, no penalty.

That's exactly what the build-only option is for. The infrastructure is yours outright — domains, mailboxes, DNS configuration, all of it. You get a walkthrough of how it works and seven days of monitoring after launch, then you maintain it for roughly $175–$250/month.

Plenty of people start there and come back for managed outreach later once they've seen what the daily monitoring actually involves. That's a reasonable way to do it.

Fair question, and the honest answer is that I'm early. I built this system for my own outreach and I run it every day before I run it for anyone else. What I don't have yet is a wall of client case studies, and I'd rather say that than borrow someone else's screenshots.

What I can offer instead is structure: a half-rate first month, a reply floor with a specific number attached, a free month if I miss it, and the ability to pause after thirty days. If I'm wrong about what this can do for you, that costs me considerably more than it costs you. That's deliberate.
